The story told here was born in Brazil in 2006, when I lived there for three years in the city of Rio de Janeiro. In the trickle of intuition, information about the Grail and the Secret History of Portugal began to reveal itself. And it was revealed in the most unexpected ways; while walking with my son in the park, while taking the dog to the street, etc... it was in the daily living, without any specific preparation, that each fragment of the history of Portugal appeared complete, without the need to use the reasoning, nor the attention needed for those that receive something transmitted... in a certain moment nothing was there in my mind, and in the following second, without any kind of discontinuity, everything was there like a memory that revealed itself as ready-made. And so it was for a few months, where the only mental exercise I used was to chronologically organize that same information, which appeared in random blocks, without ever having written a line of text about it.
For some time I didn’t know what to do with all that knowledge about the Grail and the Secret History of Portugal. It was not in my nature to go around lecturing on the subject, nor did I feel I had to write an exclusive book to talk about it. For a while, it was as if this knowledge was a “hot potato” in my hand that I wanted to pass on, but didn’t know how. And it was only in 2010 when I was preparing the edition of the book “ Janelas entre dois Mundos” that I realized that this information was to be included in that book. And I confess that it was a great relief when this happened, because knowledge is not to be retained but shared, and to be able to do so after four years was like taking a huge burden off my shoulders.
Over the years, many people have always asked me whether this story is true in a factual sense. I always told them that this is not important; that what really matters is to realize that this story is REAL, because it is alive, because it has the alchemical power to touch somewhere inside us and transform us, and not the factuality of it. I can be telling a historical fact that happened centuries ago and the people in front of me start to yawn, because that story, although true, is no longer real, is not alive, does not touch or transform. On the other hand, I can be telling a story from Greek mythology and, although not true, that story is Real, because it is alive, because it moves us and questions us, because it has the power to transform us through reflection and interiorization. Although I wrote this story as being true, because that’s how I felt it, I don’t impose this as a rule on whoever reads this text, leaving this analysis to the internal space of each one. For me, the important thing is to realize that this story, more than true, is alive, can touch invisible points within us in an alchemy that can promote a transformation. And that is all that matters.
